It’s been about 6 years since I’ve written a blog entry! It actually feels good to once again have a literary outlet. I used to keep a blog in my youth using my online handle “Inoriz”. I had decided to keep the name for my photography work. (More about me here).

I’d like to take this chance to show you a glimpse of our studio.
Sidetrack: I have often wondered if I should use “My”, “I” and “me” or “Our”, “we” and “us” when describing the business and decided that both are correct simply for the fact that without my family’s support, love and patience, I cannot run this on my own.

Our studio is cosy and is one of the rooms in my house I go to when I need to look at pretty things. You know, when you feel uninspired, you want to look at pretty things. And there are so many pretty props in my studio! Look:

Doing photography also gives me an excuse to buy more and hoard craft supplies like yarn and fabric to keep my crafty side alive. I try to make most of my own props and this also helps to keep my photography style consistent.

Even the view from the studio is inspiring. We can see the lush paddocks (and sometimes, our neighbour’s horses) and the mountain ranges. My children sometimes sit in front of the studio door to have their snacks while watching the horses.

I am beyond excited to finally be able to work from our very own little studio space. It is a humble beginning and I sincerely hope that it would be a place where beautiful memories of tiny little babies and their families would be created.

I also have a few ideas for this blog space and it would contain a mix of photography, some crafty ‘adventures’ (I know right? My adventures are knitting and sewing instead exhilarating rock climbing or sky diving without a parachute), some parenting stories (well… I do have 4 children!) etc. If you’d like to keep up to date with my blog posts, you can subscribe and get email notifications. Simply fill in your email address in the right sidebar! –>

I’ll leave you with another photo of the studio space. Stay tuned because I will be hosting a giveaway in the next post! 🙂 Enjoy your day!

Thank you very much, Carl! It’s taken me more than a year to build the site – such a good learning experience though!ReplyCancel
